Abstract

Nasal accesorius ( supernumerary nostril ) is one of the rarest congenital nasal deformities, it can be unilateral or bilateral and can appear isolated or in association with other anomalies. Operative is best choice for treatment but must be very careful not to damage the normal cartilage in order to avoid later deformities.

We reported one case of 11th years old young male with nasal accesorius located above the left nostril with no function abnormality but patient complain aesthatecally. We performed excision of the nasal accesorius using elips design, then continued to reconstructed the nasal and sutured the defect primarily. Post operative evaluation, the postoperative wound in good condition without infection and feed back we achieve that patient and family can accept the post operative result.

Conclusion : nasal accesorius is a rare case that can be unilateral or bilateral, excision of nasal accesorius result a good outcome.
